FAQs
1. Can our congregation work with one of our current mission points?
LST encourages this arrangement! We will contact your mission site and explain LST to them. If they are willing, then we will be glad to send any or all of your teams to that site.
2. How many people is our church encouraged to send with LST?
Each church has the freedom to create their own faith commitment. LST will work with each church's leadership to set an appropriate goal for their Centurion commitment.
3. How long will it take to fulfill our Centurion commitment?
The time frame for the Centurion commitment if up to each church. We believe most churches will choose to fulfill their commitement in 2-5 years.
4. How much is the Centurion Project going to cost our church?
There is no cost involved in becoming a Centurion Partner. Each church has the option to contribute to their members that go with LST. However, LST does not recommend that churches feel responsible for the entire cost of projects.
5. What is the anticipated global impact of the Centurion Project?
With God's blessing, the big picture outcomes of the Centurion Project during the next 5-7 years could look something like this:
100+ North American churches transfromed by sending their own members as mission workers.
10,000 Christians trained in global evangelism, sent in the world, obedient to Christ's Great Commission, and believing the eternal promise that God's Word "will go out...and will not return empty."
150,000+ people from across the globe introduced to the Good News of Jesus through Christian friendship and the Word of God, many for the very first time.
Great growth at missions sites due to continuous LST presence.
More long-term missionaries sent out and many more churches planted.
6. What must we do to become a Centurion church?
Churches seeking more information about the Centurion Project should contact our Centurion Director, Darin Campbell, directly at 512-785-8350 or Darin.Campbell@LST.org
