Testimonials

The Centurion Project is one of the most ambitious and exciting global missions endeavors Churches of Christ have attempted in years. It will undoubtedly bless every church involved.

-Tim Spivey, Senior Minister, North County Church of Christ

The Centurion project has allowed us to see the evidence of God in our church like nothing else in many years People who would have died and never experienced God's work on the mission field, have now seen the magnitude of God around the world. They come back now saying that their experience opened their eyes like never before to who God is and what He is doing in their life and the lives of Chinese people. This is the greatest thing they have ever done for their spiritual lives.

-Philip Nichols, Garden Ridge Church of Christ, Lewisville, TX

In the years to come, I believe that the Centurion churches will become, by God's favor, some of the most healthy and spiritually mature churches in the Kingdom. God be praised for the work that LST is doing to not only affect the mission field but to aid churches in returning to their first love!

-Gil Vollmering, Jr., North Davis Church of Christ, Arlington, TX

Ministry asks churches to send 10,000 workers

Printed in the Nov. 1, 2007 Christian Chronicle

By sending 10,000 workers, Let's Start Talking hopes to produce more stories like that of Raul Tello, an Argentinean who first studied with a campaigner in 1996. Tello was baptized in 2000 and last November became an elder of the church in Buenos Aires, missionary Joel Banks said.

The Centurion Project also is designed to excite church members about evangelism in their own neighborhoods, said Sherrylee Woodwards, who co-founded the ministry with her husband, Mark.
